I am privileged to inform you that the National Sports Development Association, in collaboration with the Association of Sports Development and Sports Sciences, will organize the “National Sports Development Scholarships Examination on 23rd February 2025.

National Sports Development Scholarships are open to all eligible sports talents from 08 to 27 (physically disabled or tenets like Deaf, Blind, and Paralympians can also apply). Criteria and benchmarks are only for individual or team achievement or participation in any government-recognized and approved Rural, Urban, District, Zonal, State, and National Sports Meet, including SGFI, CBSE, NVS, KVS, All India University Games, Khelo India Youth Games, Khelo India University Games, and other National sports meet.

National Sports Development Scholarships Examination results will be announced following successful examination attendance and strict verification of each candidate’s application details. Eligible candidates will receive an amount ranging from a minimum of Rs. 3,000 to a maximum of Rs. 25,000 for sports development and their regular education on 23rd February 2025

• Objective Type: The examination comprises 100 Multiple Choice Questions. (MM: 4 x 100: 400)
• Online Interview Cum Viva-Voce Examination (MM: 100)
• Negative Marking Applicable
• Sports Weightage as per Annexure I
• History of Indian Sports, Traditional Sports, Games, Yoga, etc
• Fitness topics with particular emphasis on Indian traditional fitness methods.
• Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, Khelo India Games, and other popular sports.
• Exercise and Sports Physiology
• Physical Education and Health Education
• Sports Biochemistry
• Sports Biomechanics
• Sports Nutrition
• Sports Sciences and Medicine
• Sports Physiotherapy
• Sports Psychology, and Yoga Education
